Does this picture remind you of yourself? This time being an iPad pro user might just pay off! To promote the launch of our extended display app, Splashtop is running a fun contest for anyone who is using Splashtop XDisplay (even though you can't actually use it with 7 iPads like this nut).

YOUR CHALLENGE: Show us how you use your iPad as a second screen with XDisplay!

Step 1: Download and install Splashtop Streamer on your main computer. XDisplay currently works with Windows 7 only.

Step 2: Download and install Splashtop XDisplay on your iPad.  Learn more about XDisplay here.  It's FREE to try.

Step 3: Email us a hi-res photo along with a caption showing us how you use your iPad as an extended display.

Step 4:  us on Facebook and post your entry to our wall, and ask your friends to us and vote for you.

Entry Deadline: Aug 21, 2011 at midnight (12:00 a.m. PST)

Award Categories:

• Most original / creative / unique extended display usage
• Most humorous extended display usage
• Geekiest (most advance / cutting-edge) extended display usage
• People’s Choice (the entry with the most on Facebook)

Prizes: The winner of each category will get to choose either a JOBY Ori (valued at $69.95) or a Yogi (valued at $39.95) for iPad 1 or 2.

Phew, now that was one BUSY show! With various session presenters recommending Splashtop Whiteboard to their students (thanks presenters!) together with the great folks at ISTE profiling us, folks were beating a path to our booth as soon as the expo opened, and we were soon swimming in a sea of people (as well as running out of brochures - Kinko's anyone?).

Rewind a few months - One thing we noticed when we were at the CUE conference in Palm Springs back in March was the interest Splashtop generated with other vendors. They quickly realized how they could extend their products to the iPad in unique ways:

• Interactive whiteboard vendors can complement their tools with an iPad acting as a graphical wireless slate
• PC and Mac software developers can now add iPad gestures to their software without ANY development effort
• Online content providers can play their Flash video content and lesson plans on an iPad

So it was no surprise to find a few Splashtop fans at various booths using Whiteboard while demonstrate their own products. And it didn’t stop there. They then paid us the greatest compliment - recommending people to visit us to see for themselves how Splashtop can add more value to their day. Thanks everyone!

Hi Splashtop users! A month ago, we asked you what kind of info are you interested in hearing from us. A lot of you wanted to learn how to get the most out of our apps as well as tips and tricks on what other people are doing with our apps.

So starting soon, we will be featuring a "Fan of the Week" on our blog to promote a fan who uses our Splashtop Remote Desktop or Whiteboard app in a unique or interesting way.

After a few months of secretive beta testing and event planning, we’re finally here unveiling a new member to the Splashtop family - Splashtop Whiteboard!

For those of you who haven’t been to the ISTE show, it’s the country’s largest education event attracting a worldwide audience.

There are 2 things about this show that are startling:

We recently optimized our Remote Desktop apps for those of you who have NVIDIA GeForce graphics card in your computer.
