Connect remotely even when your mobile device is outside the corporate networks.

Web-based admin console

This is the "gatekeeper" of all the connections.  From the Admin Console, you can:

  • Invite new users by entering their email addresses.
  • Create a group and assign computers / servers to that group for shared access. 
  • Grant or revoke permission to any mobile device from accessing a certain computer.
  • Reset user passwords.
  • Add or delete user accounts.

Permission management

Create groups and select which user(s) have permission to access each group. One user can belong to multiple groups.

Computer grouping for shared access

Set up a group to provide a pool of identically-configured computers to your employees. When an employee connects to a certain group, he/she will get connected to ANY available computer in that group. Think of groups as a way to share resources.

Connection policy management (type & time)

Manage connection policy by setting a time limit for a connection (useful when multiple people are sharing a machine or mobile device) or restricting connection type (LAN only or across the Internet).

Connection history monitoring

Monitor employee usage to see which mobile device is connecting to which computer, time of connection, and duration of each session.

Enhanced security with AES128 encryption

Splashtop Pro secures your data from beginning of a session to termination of the session. It uses a combination of HTTPS/SSL and 128-bit AES, which can be considered completely safe by today's standards. Your video, audio, and keystrokes are fully encrypted and are safe from snooping, regardless of where you are.

  1. Q: Is there a limit to how many users I can sign up? 
    A: You can purchase a minimum of 5 seats and up to 25 seats in 1 seat increments from our website.  Contact us for more seats.  When buying more seats, the newly added seats will be on their own billing cycle.

  2. Q: My company has 10 employees, how should I set everyone up to use Splashtop Pro?
    A: One person who is designated to be the admin should sign up for a Splashtop Pro account and invite the other 9 employees via email.

  3. Q: I just signed up to Splashtop Pro. Now what?
    A: Follow these simple step-by-step instructions to get your company up and running.

  4. Q: What is a group? Why should I set one up?
    A: As an admin, you can set up a group to provide a pool of identically-configured computers to your employees. When an employee connects to a certain group, he/she will get connected to ANY available computer in that group. Think of groups as a way to share resources.

    A: The employee will receive an activation email and be prompted to create a password.

  10. Q: Does an employee have to enter a password to access a certain computer?
    A: Yes, the employee will have to first log in with his/her email and password in the Splashtop Pro App.

  11. Q: How secure is Splashtop Pro?

    A: Splashtop Pro Streamer download will be available on the Admin Console after you sign up for a Splashtop Pro account.  It is free of charge.

  13. Q: Will there be software updates for Splashtop Pro Streamer?
    A: Yes, the updates are centrally managed from the Admin Console.  The admin can choose which computer to update from the Admin Console for the auto-install.

  14. Q: Will there be software updates for Splashtop Pro App?
    A: Yes, the employee will be prompted to update when an update is available.

  15. Q: Is the consumer version of Splashtop Remote Desktop compatible with Splashtop Pro?
    A: Yes, after you’ve install Splashtop Pro Streamer on a computer, go under the Account tab and check the box that says “Allow connection from other Splashtop apps”, and create a security code that allows for backward compatibility with Splashtop apps.

  16. Q: I just downloaded the free Splashtop Pro App from the iTunes App Store. Can I start using it?
    A: Yes, as long as you have been invited by your IT admin to create a Splashtop Pro account. Splashtop Pro pricing is subscription based, unlike our consumer remote desktop app.

  17. Q: What types of mobile devices does Splashtop Pro support?
    A: Currently iPads, Android tablets and Windows computers. Macs will be supported soon.
