Overview

Splashtop Presenter allows presenters, instructors and trainers to turn their iPad into the ultimate presentation remote. Once connected to their computer over Wi-Fi, they can control their presentation then annotate content all from an iPad. Be free to roam around the stage or interact from all four corners of the room. Add pizzazz to your presentation by engaging with your audience in new ways!

Brought to you by the developers of the award winning Splashtop Remote Desktop, Splashtop Presenter offers Powerpoint and Keynote users a way to access the software from anywhere in the room. For users who are frustrated with presentation clickers, now they can use their iPad!

Presenters can:

Be free to roam – Have complete control over the presentation without needing to go back to the computer to move to the next slide. All slide animations, video and audio are played in high definition on your iPad. No need to stay at the front of room. Be free to roam around . Hand the iPad to someone in the audience and let their imagination do the rest!

Express yourself – Use gestures to draw, highlight, or write over any content – even Keynote, Adobe Flash and video. Take snapshots of the screen and save them to the gallery then email them to attendees or colleagues. Use different colored and sized pens, highlighter, shapes, and text tools over existing content. Use the Digital flipchart to create pages with different backgrounds.

Here are the steps to get started:

1. Download and install Splashtop Streamer onto your PC or Mac
2. Download and install Splashtop Presenter onto your iPad(Splashtop Presenter includes Splashtop Remote Desktop)
3. Fire up Splashtop Presenter and connect to your computer over Wi-Fi

Requirements

Splashtop Presenter is not a local presentation app. You will need to connect to your computer over Wi-Fi to use it.

Splashtop Presenter includes Splashtop Remote Desktop.

Splashtop Presenter requires that your computer have Splashtop Streamer installed and that it meets these requirements:

  • Windows 7, Vista, XP, or Mac OS X 10.6+
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • 1.6 GHz or faster dual-core CPU

Splashtop Presenter ONLY SUPPORTS IPAD 1 AND 2.

Free to Roam

Be free to Roam – Have complete control over the presentation without needing to go back to the computer to move to the next slide. Enjoy control like never before. Access and control all your PC or Mac applications directly from your iPad. Your iPad will now replace the mouse and keyboard. Press the pen icon to enter annotation mode, press it again to exit to desktop mode. Use intuitive touch gestures to simulate your mouse to move on the desktop. It’s as easy as that!

Using Splashtop Presenter means you can use the same software you’re used to using day in, day out. Why purchase new apps with limited functionality when you can make use of the ones you've already paid for! Move between pages in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Acrobat and Keynote and annotate as you go using the Previous/Next Page functions.

Focus attention using spotlight

Slowly reveal text or images to keep your audience focused using the Screen Shade. Or use Spotlight to keep the attention onto one part of the screen.

Splashtop Presenter creates new opportunities to bring your presentation directly to your audience. Being next to an attendee allows for spontaneous and personal instruction not possible from the front of the room.

Digital Flipchart - create multiple page flipcharts. Share them via email or review them in future meetings. Saved pages are fully editable so you can annotate over or delete. Choose from different backgrounds including blank, ruled and graphed.

Virtual Keyboard - allows you to type in a URL or edit a document directly on your iPad without walking back to your computer. Keyboard will change based on whether you are connecting to a PC or Mac.

Touch Gestures - show or hide the toolbar to maximize what is displayed on the projector, or swipe left-right to move to previous/next slide in slideshows, pages in PDFs or websites.
