DeviceVM, Inc. is a privately held software company offering Splashtop, an award-winning ‘instant-on’ platform that improves the personal computing experience. 2006 | DeviceVM is founded by the team that had previously started OSA Technologies.
August 2006 | DeviceVM raises $10.5 million in Series A funding, led by Storm Ventures.
October 2007 | DeviceVM raises $10 million in Series B funding, led by DFJ Dragon Fund.
October 2007 | First Splashtop enabled ASUS motherboard ships.
January 2008 | Splashtop awarded PC World Magazine’s PC World Innovation Award.
February 2008 | Dow Jones selects DeviceVM as One of the Top 50 Companies to Watch in 2008.
May 2008 | Splashtop to ship on millions of ASUS motherboards.
May 2008 | First Splashtop enabled ASUS notebooks ship.
August 2008 | DeviceVM raises $15 million in Series C funding.
August 2008 | HP Voodoo Envy133 notebook ships with Splashtop.
October 2008 | Lenovo ships the first Splashtop-powered netbook.
November 2008 | Splashtop wins prestigious awards from Popular Science Magazine and the CEA.
January 2009 | Lenovo expands its line of Splashtop-powered netbooks.
February 2009 | LG ships the first 3G capable Splashtop-powered netbook.
