I made some tries at booting usb flash and after days of F%#@ing around still can't get proper kernel... I looked threw the splastop_src.tar.bz but all thats there lots of source/binary apps (firefox, pigin, packman,/static/aufs.koand busybox ,blackbox, tinyX,wirelesstools, and 100's of other /ect/lib/sbin/binvar/usr/andmore, and there is config-2.6.20-11 file not gz. so far I use ubuntu custom eeexubuntu 7.10 kernel, no kernel panic!! but it comes to (can't find cmos set the date YYMMDDhhmmss... or so anyway) i set the date but it says the same over and over for days lol allmost givein up, I'm not a c/c++ but can F$%k with linux/unix... i think that you need special bios update or something of the sort but if the is any 1 who knows about source/binary better please help..
You have already demo'd Splashtop on an eeepc from an external drive. Since the binary already exists, and the code is GPLed, why not put the binary on the web, even if it is an unsupported demo?
